Very Beginner Watercolour Painting Workshop

Class Description:
Learn watercolour basics in this 3 hour Very Beginner workshop with local artist Nicole Warrington. If you’ve never used watercolours before (or haven’t in a long time), then this is the place to start!

In this beginner’s class, you will explore colour mixing, layering using both wet and dry brush techniques, and different ways to create texture.

A sketchbook will be provided for you to take notes and practise techniques. Nicole will also talk about different supplies and types of paper you can use when you take your new watercolour skills home to play! She will bring along her personal sketchbooks for you peek through and gain some inspiration from!

What is included:
All artist quality supplies are included, plus you will be provided with a sketchbook to take home with you. That means you just show up!

Who is this class for:
Level 1
Focus: Learning the Basics
Adults only please. Level 1 classes are for students with little or no experience. You will learn the basic skills for use of tools and introduction to the medium.

What to bring:
We have some aprons, but wear clothes that can withstand the elements (i.e. glue, paint, etc.) of a fun, creative art studio. Nothing else is required.

Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before scheduled start time.
