Very Beginner Acrylic Painting Workshop

Class Description:
This quick 3 hour workshop will get you in the right direction for acrylic painting. You will learn foundational skills such the difference of mediums, which paint brushes to select and how to mix your own colours. If you are a little nervous about painting or have never painting before, this one is for you!

We will explore techniques and skills, not focus on a finished product (painting). However, after this workshop you will be equipped with the skills to work on your own paintings at home or in the classroom.

This workshop is great for those with little or no experience painting and who want to prepare for the other Painting classes and workshops we offer. When you register for this workshop, you will receive a $10 discount our next multi-week Acrylic Painting 2 – Value, Rhythm, John Piper that starts Nov 14 (just email us and we will send you the code).

What is included:
All supplies are included. That means that you just show up!

Who is this class for:
Adults only please. Level 1 classes are for students with little or no experience. You will learn the basic skills for use of tools and introduction to the medium.

What to bring:
We have some aprons, but wear clothes that can withstand the elements (i.e. glue, paint, etc.) of a fun, creative art studio. Nothing else is required.
