Very Beginner Acrylic Painting Workshop

Class Description:
Learning basic painting skills in this workshop in this workshop will get you going in the right direction by teaching you foundational skills such as how and why to use mediums, which paint brushes to use, and how to mix your own colours. If you are feeling nervous about painting, this is the one you want to take.

In this workshop, we will not be focusing on what is being produced – we will be exploring techniques and skills. In other words, you will not be leaving with a finished painting, but rather, a cheat sheet of techniques you can apply to your future paintings.

This workshop is great for those with little or no experience painting and who want to prepare for the other Painting classes and workshops we offer. If you have never painted before, this workshop will enrich your experience of future classes!

What is included:
All supplies are included. That means that you just show up!

Who is this class for:
Open to adults with little or no painting experience.

What to bring:
We have some aprons, but wear clothes that can withstand the elements (i.e. glue, paint, etc.) of a fun, creative art studio. Nothing else is required.
