Round Weaving with Samantha Cheong

Class Description:
This class is delivered online with limited seats for a highly interactive experience with your instructor.

Online Format:
This class will be delivered using Zoom, which will need to be downloaded in advance (no additional fee for using). You can participate using your mobile, tablet or desktop. Upon registration, you will be emailed instructions on how to connect with the classroom.

*Please note – Our goal is to create a highly interactive classroom environment and be able to give personal feedback to each participant. Therefore we ask that only one person attend per registration.

Supplies:
1 – 6″ metal crafting ring
1 plastic yarn needle
A clean fork
Yarns/fibres:
–20 ft (6m) – 100% cotton string for wrapping the metal ring & extra to use in weaving – natural/white in colour
–11 ft (3.4m) – 100% natural cotton warp thread
–10 ft (3m) – natural colour single strand cotton string
–3.5 ft (1m) – coloured single strand cotton string – accent colour
–15 ft (4.6m) – roving or super bulky yarn
–8 ft (2.4m) – chunky/bulky yarn
–17 ft (5.2m) – worsted weight yarn – white
–19 ft (5.8m) – worsted weight yarn – beige
–3.5 ft (1m) – lace/silk/satin yarn
–8 ft (2.4m) – 3 strand twisted cotton rope
