Class Description:
Come and make a fun, colourful rag basket using a variety of weaving techniques: some traditional, some less so! Each participant will take home their own unique project, some crafty skills, and perhaps even some new weaving friends! Feel free to bring your own fabric if you have some interesting ones you’d like to incorporate, however all supplies will be included. Great for beginners or improvers.

All supplies are included. That means you just show up!
Who is this class for:
Level 1
Focus: Learning the Basics
This Level 1 class is for students with little or no experience. You will learn the basic skills for use of tools and introduction to the medium.
What to bring:
We have some aprons, but wear clothes that can withstand the elements (i.e. glue, paint, etc.) of a fun, creative art studio. Nothing else is required.
Other things you should know:
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before scheduled start time.

Amy is a Vancouver Island artist of contemporary basketry and beautiful, one of a kind furniture art. She joined us in the fall of 2018 to share her basket weaving skills and techniques through Lupine Art Studio. We are excited to have her continue instructing workshops into 2020!
