Are you interested in painting animals? Let Lisa Joan of Isla Life Designs help you find your inner wildlife artist!
Lisa will guide you through the painting of an elk while she covers:
- How to use wildlife artists you admire to influence your own work
- Where to find resources and reference photos
- How to utilize knowledge of anatomy to make your work realistic
- Animal colour theory
- How light reflects on fur and antlers, as well as other textures
- How to take photos of your work and make prints
Although in this workshop you will be using acrylic paint, many of the techniques are applicable to watercolour.
