Life Drawing (With Instruction)

Class Description:
Life drawing, or figure drawing, is the practice of drawing from a live model. It is designed to practice your drawing skills, loosen up your mark making, and keep your observation skills sharp. The model will be present for one hour, posing in a variety of poses beginning with quick gesture drawings (which only last seconds), and gradually moving towards longer 5 to 15 minute poses.

This class is for those who are interested in attending a figure drawing session but have never done so before, or who need some direction to develop their drawing and observation skills. The first hour will be an introduction to the materials and terms without a model present. The second hour will be dedicated to drawing the model with direction from the instructor.
