Introduction to Lino Cut

Class Description:
A Three-hour crash course on lino cut for total newbies.

An introduction of the tools, materials and process of lino cut/block printing. Students will develop their own custom stamps and explore the possibilities of Block Printing on a small scale with an emphasis on pattern and repetition in design.

Bonus: You are welcome to attend a free drop-in to Your Studio during the current session (must use by Dec 14) to complete your piece that was started in this workshop ($20 value).

Designed for adults with any level of art experience.

What to bring:
We have some aprons, but wear clothes that can withstand the elements (i.e. glue, paint, etc.) of a fun, creative art studio. Nothing else is required.
