Learn the art of foldforming, a fun and distinctive metal folding technique. It’s the origami of jewelry making! The metal is folded and unfolded in specific patterns that create very interesting textures and raised surfaces. Sawing, hammering, texturing, patination and polishing will be taught and each student will make two pairs of earrings in silver, copper or brass.
We will take a break from instruction for lunch. You are welcome to bring your own lunch and remain in the studio or visit one of the many fantastic dining options in Downtown Courtenay.
