Drawing Practice I – The Basics

Class Description:
Drawing is the foundation of all things art and developing your drawing skills will show in all of your art endeavours. Everyone can learn to draw and our instructor is going to guide you through various techniques that will improve these abilities.

The class is a comfortable pace for all skill levels and adaptable to those with more or less experience than others. Experienced drawers that want to brush up will value the time for practice by refining and developing their drawing skills and techniques. If you want to take the this class beyond the instruction time, related activities will be given for you to draw on your own time.

This course is based on many techniques from the renowned book “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” by Betty Edwards.
