On July 6, we will be partnering with KidSport Comox Valley to get more kids off the sidelines and into the game! This local organization helps remove financial barriers that may keep children from participating in organized sports. 100% of net proceeds will go to KidSport and every dollar raised stays here in the Comox Valley. #SoALLKidsCanPlay!
Last year, KidSport Comox Valley provided over $25,000 of grants to more than 110 local children to participate in a variety of sports. We raised about $2,400 from our 2018 lawn bowling tournament and had 50+ participants. Join us for a fun day of lawn bowling, limited to 32 teams!
In addition to the winners receiving recognition on our awesome trophy, we will be awarding prizes from local businesses in the following categories:
- Highest ranking team
- Runner up
- Lowest ranking team
- Most creative attire (voted by players)
- Best team name (voted by players)
For your entry, you will receive:
- Admission to the tournament
- Possibility of winning some fun prizes from local businesses (see above!)
- 100% of net proceeds of this event will go to KidSport
What To Bring
Wear comfortable, flexible clothes – team uniforms are encouraged! Wear the flattest sole shoes you have, flip flops are great, barefoot is OK. It will likely be hot and you are out in the sun – hats, sunscreen, water are all good things to bring.
Who Can Play
This tournament is for adults with little or no lawn bowling experience. Don’t know how to play – perfect!
Register as a team of 4 or individually and we will match you up to make a team of 4.
If someone on your team can’t play all day, you can trade off with other teammates, but please ensure you have a team there throughout the day so your opposition has someone to play. For example, you may enter a team that has 6 people on it, but trade off so 4 of you play at one time (you don’t need to ask us about this – just do it :)).

We will donate your entry fee to KidSport Comox Valley and thank-you in advance. Remember – this is for the kids!
