Class Description:
Try basket weaving with this introductory workshop and make your own beautiful birds nest style basket! Perfect for beginners or weavers with some experience, you will learn the Japanese random weave technique to make these lovely baskets.
The workshop will explore using traditional basket reed, adding natural local materials to create rustic and versatile baskets. These birds nests make lovely table centrepieces and can be used as seasonal decorations all year round.

What is included:
All supplies to create your own beautiful basket as well as use of tools are included – you just need to show up!
Who is this class for:
Open to adults of all skill levels.
What to bring:
Just bring yourself, but wear clothes that can withstand the elements (i.e. glue, paint, etc.) of a fun, creative art studio.
