The Pink Ribbons Are Out
Everyone knows someone who has been affected by breast cancer. One of our customers is going through treatments right now, and she said that she will make a full recovery as it was caught early. When asked if there was anything we can do to help, she said “Tell all the women you know to do their self exams. That’s what saved me!”
So here we are. We know that many of our customers are in the most at risk demographic – women aged 50-69. Did you know that 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer?
How Are We Helping
So we are going to help spread awareness during the month, but we are also going to donate $5 from every class registration during the month of October to the Canadian Cancer Society Breast Cancer Futures Fund.
