Covid Policy
At Lupine we follow government mandates. Currently there are no restrictions at the studio. All we ask is that you sanitize your hands when you get here!
Arrival
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before the scheduled program time.
Artwork Pick Up
Completed artwork will be stored for 14 days only. Please ensure you pickup your art as soon as it’s ready.
Satisfaction Promise
If we didn’t meet your expectations, let us know on the first day (you must attend) and we will provide you with a full credit to another class in the future.
Cancellation Policy
Notice of cancellation must be sent to jess@lupineart.com and will be deemed received at the time of the email.
Classes/Workshops:
A full refund is provided if Lupine Art Studio cancels a class.
Student cancellations:
– 3 days or more notice: 3 month transferrable credit will be provided
– 2 days or less notice: No credit given for any reason. You may have someone else take your seat without notifying us. Only multi-week classes may be made up with advance notice and subject to availability (see below “Missed Classes” section for details).
Parties
Deposits for parties will be collected in advance, deeming the party booking and confirmed. Deposits are treated differently depending on the amount of time given when cancelling:
- More than 7 days notice: Full deposit will be returned.
- 7 days notice or less: Full deposit will be credited to a new party booking but must be used within 1 month of the original booked party. If the credit is not used within 1 month, it will be non-refundable.
Missed Classes (multi-week adult classes only – does not include private lessons, workshops, parties, single session, etc.)
Students that miss classes may attend a similar class within the same session upon approval of Lupine Art Studio, if requested in advance. Any make-up classes must be taken within the same program session and under no circumstances will be carried forward. Classes are not pro-rated due to missed classes.
Payment Policy
Payment is due before programs begin. All registrations are submitted online at https://www.lupineart.com. Some programs are drop-in, which can be paid at the studio at the time of the program.
Online payments are processed by our trusted and secure payment processor, Stripe (online registration). Payment in person can be made by cheque, cash or credit. REGISTRATION IS VALID ONLY ONCE FULL PAYMENT IS MADE AND PROCESSED.
A $25.00 administration fee will be charged for cheques that are returned to us by your bank.
Security and Confidentiality
Online registration with us is secure. We do not receive, store, or have access to your credit card information, as your payments are processed with Stripe. When you enter your payment information, you are providing your information to Stripe directly. Our partners in credit card processing are PCI compliant and comply with SSL encryption standards. More information can be found on their websites.
Consent For Use Of Pictures:
While participating in activities at Lupine Art Studio, you may be photographed or videoed. By registering for a program, you agree to allow your photo or video be published by Lupine Art Studio in for the purpose of advertising and promotion. If you do not want your child, yourself, or a family member photographed, please let us know on the first day.
Age Requirements
Children must meet the age requirements listed of the respective programs.
Safe Learning Environment
Lupine Art Studio aims to provide a safe, positive, and welcoming learning environment. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to or de-register any student who prevents our ability to provide such an environment. In the event of de-registration, a refund will be issued for the balance of classes for which the individual is registered.
Special Needs
All details of a student’s special needs must be disclosed at the time of registration. Please note that we cannot provide a support worker, but welcome support-workers arranged and supplied by the family.
Accident Policy
In case of accident, injury or illness, if a parent or guardian cannot be reached, we will take your child to the emergency ward of the nearest hospital or call an ambulance if necessary.
Privacy Policy
